SCAR Open Science Conference 2026: Call for abstracts

12th SCAR Open Science Conference & Meetings, Oslo 2026
The Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR), together with the Norwegian Polar Institute, invite the Antarctic research community to the 12th SCAR Open Science Conference & Meetings, which will take place in Oslo, Norway, from 8 to 19 August 2026. The conference will be hosted at the Clarion Hotel The Hub in Oslo.
The call for abstracts is now open. The scientific programme will include 50 parallel sessions, and participants are invited to explore the session options and submit their contributions.

The deadline for abstract submissions is 28 February 2026.
The First Circular is now available, and the official conference website, www.scar2026.org, has been launched. The website will be updated as planning continues, and participants are encouraged to check back regularly for further information.
