The Southern Ocean Carbon and Heat Impacts on Climate (SO-CHIC) project, an EU-funded Horizon2020 project which began in November of 2019 and will conclude, following a one year delay due to COVID-19, in November 2024.

The SO-CHIC Project Coordinator, Dr. Jean-Baptiste Sallée, will give a talk on the SO-CHIC project's achievements, research, and results. He will give an overview of the activities of each Work Package, future research priorities, policy relevance, and how the project's goals have been achieved. He will further describe some of the SO-CHIC project's findings and their relationship to wider climate and oceanographic science.
This webinar will feature a keynote by Dr. Jean-Baptiste Sallée followed by a public Q&A session.
The SO-CHIC webinar series is hosted and coordinated by the European Polar Board, in conjunction with the SO-CHIC Project Coordinator and WP Leads.
