NL Polar Day 2026

The Netherlands Polar Day (NL Polar Day) is a yearly national gathering that brings together Dutch polar scientists, policymakers, and professionals to engage on Arctic and Antarctic research, cooperation, and policy issues. Coordinated by the Dutch Research Council (NWO) in collaboration with partners such as APECS Netherlands, the event features keynote talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities centered on polar topics. NL Polar Day functions as a central platform for exchanging knowledge, addressing pressing challenges such as climate change, and ensuring that Dutch polar research and initiatives align with national strategic priorities.

The 2026 NL Polar Day will take place in  Mariënhof, Amersfoort on April 21.
