The European Commission, in association with the European External Action Service, is organizing the EU Arctic Forum, Indigenous Peoples' Dialogue, and Arctic Youth Dialogue in Brussels on 1–2 September 2026, with side events on 3 September.
These events bring together governments, international organizations, civil society, industry, researchers, and Indigenous and local communities to discuss key Arctic challenges, including international cooperation, sustainable economic development, climate change, and research and innovation.
The Arctic Youth Dialogue is co-created with Arctic and European youth, including Indigenous youth, reflecting the EU's commitment to amplifying diverse voices.
The events will be held physically. Attendance is free but requires registration, which does not guarantee automatic acceptance. Side events on 3 September extend the conversation across topics such as science, regional cooperation, space, investments, and sustainable economic development.
