Arctic Frontiers 2026

Arctic Frontiers 2026 will feature five Big Picture (plenary) sessions, bringing together policymakers, researchers, Indigenous representatives, NGOs, and industry to discuss key issues shaping the Arctic. The sessions will address topics such as governance, collaboration, economic change, and coastal communities.
The conference will also include seven interdisciplinary science themes, welcoming contributions from across the natural and social sciences, humanities, and policy fields. Themes for 2026 range from permafrost change and Arctic preparedness to sustainable space activities, ocean observation, and ecosystem transformation.
