Registration and abstract submission now open for ASSW 2017

Early registration (until 17th February 2017) and abstract submissions (deadline 16th December 2016) for the 2017 Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) are now open. For more information see http://www.assw2017.eu/files/assw2017-invitation-r05.pdf or visit http://www.assw2017.eu/.

Furthermore, Social and Human Working Group of the International Arctic Science Committee is offering travel grants for  three early career scientists or traditional indigenous knowledge holders to participate in a multi-disciplinary workshop at the 2017 ASSW. The ASSW is the annual gathering of international organizations engaged in supporting and facilitating Arctic research. Its purpose is to provide opportunities for international coordination, collaboration and cooperation in all fields of Arctic science and to combine science and management meetings. Side meetings organized by groups with interest in the Arctic science and policy will also be held within the week.

The 2017 ASSW will be held in Prague, Czech Republic from  31st March to  7th April 2017.
