One Planet - Polar Summit, the first international summit dedicated to glaciers and poles, was held on 8-10th November at the National Musuem of Natural History in Paris, France. A scientific forum bringing together the international scientific community was held on 8-9th November and the political segment with leaders and figures from the glacial and polar worlds, joined by the French President, has taken place on 10th November. Several EPB members joined this Summit that addressed the Arctic and Antarctic as today's major strategic areas on which the planet's equilibrium largely depends.
