Hereby, we would like to invite you to a scientific session "High North and Far South from European and Regional Perspectives" organised by Centre for Polar Studies (University of Silesia in Katowice), Polish Polar Consortium, Committee on Polar Research (Polish Academy of Sciences) and the European Polar Board that will take place on 24 April 2024 in Katowice, European City of Science 2024. The event will feature talks from the EPB Chair, N Biebow, and the EPB Executive Secretary, R Badhe. A detailed programme of the event can be found on the poster.

The event is organised within City-Region-Academia stream initiative as part of the European City of Science Katowice 2024 celebrations and after the EPB Spring 2024 Plenary also taking place in Katowice.

The event is financed by the funds of the Silesian Voivodeship - Co-organizer of the European City of Science Katowice 2024.
